About Us

The origin of WestLand began in my home in the mountains above Boulder, Colorado at an event I called The Cabin Casino. Designed to bring friends together to eat, drink, dance, laugh and learn to play casino games. What first began with a group of friends expanded to become a popular event for Coloradans of all ages.

The Cabin Casino was designed to figure out how to legally have friends and strangers be able to play casino games and win exciting prizes. As soon as we took money out of the equation, we found that people who have never played before were fascinated with the excitement that casino games can provide, the thrill of a big win, and the challenge of becoming a tournament champion.

As the tournament developed, our name changed to WestLand Casino and we held our first event at the Last Stand Tavern in Golden, Colorado in 2019. The event was a huge success and WestLand was able to drive revenue to the Last Stand Tavern by bringing in players and keeping customers there longer. More importantly, our players loved being able to play risk-free casino games, meet new people, and have access to excellent food and beverages.

WestLand is a unique experience that brings together seasoned players, new players, young and old, families and friends for an exciting night out, where they can eat, drink, dance, laugh and learn to play casino games in a risk-free tournament. 

As we seek to expand, we are looking forward to meeting new people and spreading the love of the game.
